There are no cages or concrete runs. Your dog lives as part of the household in a calm home environment, with personal attention, daily walks, playtime and daily photo updates rather than a large commercial facility.
How is Harleen's different from Rover or Mad Paws?
You deal directly with one trusted, established local sitter, not a sitter matched at random through an app. You meet beforehand at a free meet and greet, and you get the same familiar carer every time you book.
What does the free meet and greet include?
You visit the home, see where your dog will stay, and we chat about your dog's routine, diet, temperament and any special needs. It's a relaxed, no-obligation way to make sure everyone feels comfortable before you book.
What is included in overnight boarding?
Overnight boarding is $45 per night and includes daily walks, meals, playtime, an indoor sleeping space and daily photo and video updates. Your dog is treated as part of the family.
What is included in daycare?
Doggy daycare is $40 per day and includes walks, playtime, socialisation, meals and rest time, plus photo updates through the day so you can see how your dog is going.
How much do you charge for an additional pet?
An additional pet is $30, so siblings or multiple dogs from the same family can stay together and receive the same loving care. This applies to both daycare and overnight boarding.
What size dogs do you accept?
Care is currently available for small to medium dogs. If you're unsure whether your dog fits, just mention their breed and weight when you get in touch.
How do I book a stay?
Send a message or call with your dates and your dog's details, arrange a free meet and greet, then confirm your booking. Your first stay is then locked in with agreed drop-off and pick-up times.
What areas do you service?
Harleen's Dogsitting provides home-based boarding and daycare all over Perth, Western Australia. Wherever you are across the Perth metro area, get in touch with your location and we'll sort out drop-off and pick-up.
Do you accept dogs with special needs or medication?
Yes. Anxiety, medication, dietary requirements and other special needs are welcome, with a personalised care plan discussed at your meet and greet so your dog is looked after exactly as they need.
How do I receive updates during my dog's stay?
You'll get daily photos, short video clips and messages so you always know your dog is happy, settled and well cared for while you're away.
What if my dog has separation anxiety?
Anxious dogs do really well in a calm home with a consistent carer. A gradual introduction, familiar items from home and plenty of comfort help them settle in quickly.
Can I book recurring or repeat stays?
Yes. Repeat and regular bookings are very welcome, and repeat customers can access discounts. Keeping the same trusted carer gives your dog consistency every time.
